Shop renovation, aka home sweet home, part I.

Remember, this is what our current living quarters ('the shop') looked like.

Peter (with many other helping hands!) has been working hard and we have made remarkable progress. He is master tiler, sheetrocker, floor layer, among other things!

to be reminded of what it all looked like, and how far it's come, go back to my July 2012 posts.
Coming next: chapter of shop renovation: the kitchen!

  1. Hey! I miss a few days of reading your blog and wow! So much to show and tell! Thanks for the shout-out with the Kir theme... looked soooo cool and refreshing :) The place looks great! The garden, too! Good job, Peter :)

I was in Paris for 14 juillet a few years ago, but I got sick (I think from eating raw-milk cheese), and was too weak to get my butt out of bed... ended up down at the Tour Eiffel JUST as the feu d'artifices were OVER. Can you believe it!?!? We ended up with the throngs on the Metro, no fireworks, and a long walk to get AWAY from the throngs on the Metro :) Fun, anyway!
