There are many fewer obvious celebrations of Bastille Day, at least in the country, than there are for the Fourth in the US. Sometime I'd like to be in Paris or Bordeaux for it. We went to watch the feu d'artifice (the French love their fireworks!) at the small lake in Rochechouart. It was super, loads of people (98% français), music & refreshments. We were glad we brought our lawn chairs; most people sat on the ground. The picture of Peter was at ~10:45, waiting for it to get dark enough to begin.Vive la France!
